In 2013 I trekked through the jungles across the Gran Sabana in the heart of Venezuela to climb Mt. Roraima before heading to Canaima National Park to visit the world’s highest waterfall, Angel Falls. I left my Nikon at home in favor for a Sony mirrorless camera. Unfortunately I discovered that the Sony camera system was just not up to the punishment the wilds of Venezuela threw at it. The camera limped along struggling to get focus due to the wet and humidity. Most of my night photos turned out too blurry to use.
On the bright side, now I have an excuse to return.
