Now Available on Kindle: Feel Every Step – A Camino de Santiago journal
I’m so excited to announce that my book, Feel Every Step: A tale of personal discovery on the Camino de Santiago for the less pious pilgrim, is now available in the Amazon Kindle Store.
Earlier this year, I walked the Camino Francis from St. Jean on the French Border of the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela in north western Spain. Along my journey I discovered something about myself, and perhaps more importantly, about the Way itself. Who would have guessed St. James is one sarcastic bastard?
This book is the story of the 27 days of my camino. It’s a mix of hiking tips I’ve learned over the years (most of which didn’t help me much on the camino, btw), insights into what truly makes us happy, a bunch of less than pious thoughts and dry Australian humor, an evil Gandalf, a motorcycle snorer, a Korean in blue jeans, and even a miracle in the middle of all. Oh, and plus, 30 gorgeous photos of incredible Spanish countryside.
If you are considering hiking the Camino de Santiago, check it out. You might get a few laughs, and maybe some insight into your own reasons for being crazy enough to walk 780km across Spain with nothing back a backpack and scallop shell strapped to your back.
